I am grateful that my application to the FAS Mentoring Scheme was approved, giving me access to up to four days of peer mentoring support.
One of my two mentors is Sandy Granville, who, along with his wife Ali, owns Hebridean Mutton. They breed and raise Hebridean Sheep and Highland Cattle, and some of you may recognize Sandy and Ali from ‘This Farming Life.’
Both have extensive experience in breeding and rearing Highland Cattle; many questions we have will be addressed, and we receive valuable guidance.
Sandy and Ali visited us on March 20th and we spent a couple of great hours together.
