WWOOF Experience No. 2

Mar 18, 2026 | News

Annika and Lukas were outstanding WWOOFers during their stay from 10th to 17th of March!

They helped us with

•             daily feeding of our livestock - chicken & ducks, Hebridean sheep and Highland cattle

•             extending the cattle feeding area; re-using planting boxes as feeding troughs

•             building wood protection / side panels in our livestock tunnel

•             digging drainages in our future orchard and sheep grazing area

•             preparing our greenhouse for the growing season, e.g. building trellises, building & preparing plant boxes

•             collecting & spreading seaweed

•             wood work, like mink trap and mud boards

and many other things.

Despite harsh weather—cold temperatures, wind, rain, and the classic four seasons in a day—their positivity and willingness to help never faltered. Mud splashed across their faces, yet the recurring question remained: “What’s next?”

We shared plenty of laughter and thoroughly enjoyed having them with us!

Thank you so much for all your support, Annika & Lukas. You are always welcome to return.
