Today, I hosted a visit at Bonnie Brae Croft from Elizabeth Burgess, Head of Director’s Office, Agriculture and Rural Economy Directorate; Peter MacDonald, Higher Building Officer, Rural Payments & Inspection Decision; and his colleague, Cathie Tuncay.
During their visit, I provided a tour of the croft, highlighted our recent investments, and we engaged in discussion while tending to the ewes.
Some days later I received a lovely email from Elizabeth…
“… wanted to say a huge thank you for our visit a week ago. It was absolutely fascinating to see for myself the huge amount of work you’ve done and the great variety of different activities, and to hear a bit about your next plans. You really were so generous with your time to show me around. I can’t tell you how much difference it makes to those of us with office-based jobs, to see for ourselves what people are aiming to do and how SG schemes have been used.”
